The House of Night series has been a minor addiction of mine for quite a few years now. And with all the constant twists and turns that the Casts deliver, it looks like the series will continue to please me until the end. Right away, readers will notice that Awakened has a completely different feel to it. Which makes it standout in a series of (mostly) amazing novels. And even though I finished this book days ago, my brain keeps going back to it. Replaying events and already trying to guess how everything will play out in the upcoming novels. But no matter what I can imagine, I know that the Casts will completely surprise me as they always do.Awakened is a beautiful read. Full of emotions. Betrayal. Redemption. I cried like a baby throughout most of the novel. It is that powerful.. bittersweet.. touching. Words cannot fully describe how much this novel amazed me. Since it is the 8th novel in a series, I really do not want to go into too much plot details. But let's just say that if you have been keeping track with this series, you will not be disappointed. This is the best House of Night novel that has come about possibly since the beginning of the series. The Casts completely hit the ball out of the park. And if the novels continue in this fashion, I believe the series will end on a very positive note for me.
