First Impression:Since I read The Adoration of Jenna Fox a few years ago, I have been waiting for some kind of sequel or companion novel. I have been feeling for a long time that I needed to get back into this world. And FINALLY, Pearson gave me my wish. While Reading:The Fox Inheritance was exactly what I had been waiting for. Pearson picks up where the previous left off. Writing with a style that is completly her own. The concept. The characters. The intrigue and twists. All of it were exactly what I was hoping it would be. Once I started The Fox Inheritance, I do not think I stopped until that last page was turned. Definitely stayed up until the wee hours for this one.The Fox Inheritance has a different feel to it than The Adoration of Jenna Fox. More futuristic. More urgent. Locke and Kara's story was as fascinating as I hoped it would be. And thankfully, Pearson included just enough hints from the first book, so I didn't have to go read it again. Definitely pleased with this follow up. And I would not be sad to possible see more from this world.Verdict:Fans of The Adoration of Jenna Fox will not want to miss this follow up. It does have a bit of a different feel to it than the first novel. But that did not take away from my enjoyment of the book... not one bit. Pearson has a way with words and science fiction elements. She knows how to carry me away. I feel like nothing exists once I started this book. My only goal is to get to that last page and discover everything inbetween. A complete blast.
