Review in 75 Words or Less: Hearts at Stake was an interesting read to be sure. I went into the novel believing I would be seeing everything from Solange's point of view, and was surprised to find that this was not exactly the case. I really liked Solange... but Lucy completely stole the show. There are flaws here to be sure, but they were flaws that I could deal with.Final Verdict: A fun read that I think was misrepresented by its summary. I definitely enjoyed this read, but I was left wanting to see more of Solange. I know the next novel in the series shift gears to other main characters.. so hopefully I will get to see more of the Solange, Lucy, and Nicholas as fringe characters.
