Stargazer picks up where Evernight left off. Bianca is attempting to endure life at Evernight Academy without Lucas. The saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder" definitely describes this couple. Although they are apart, it seems that almost all of Bianca's waking thoughts are of how to be reunited with Lucas. Thankfully, her friendship with Balthazar helps to fill in some gaps and they are able to work together to get what the other wants.For me, Stargazer is pure magic. I loved the interactions between Bianca and Lucas. They are sweet... they are fire... they are pure chemistry. Then to top everything off, Gray throws in some jealousy and a few plot twists. I was hooked.Stargazer is a huge improvement over Evernight. And while I really enjoyed Evernight, I think that Claudia Gray has come into her writing stride with Stargazer. The plot is more fleshed out, the writing more fluid... everything just seems to be more together. This novel is a great addition to the series, and I am really excited to see what awaits in Hourglass.
