Short and Sweet: For the longest time, I avoided Rampant. Come on... killer unicorns? But once I sat down with it, I could not pull myself away. Peterfreund's writing style is wonderful. It flows easily. The characters are full of life. And there is just enough humor to make everything work. Peterfreund really makes you want to believe that there are unicorns amoungst us.. whether they be the killer kind or not is up to you. Final Verdict: This novel rocks! With strong female characters, plenty of twist and turns, and loads of action, you will not want to put Rampant down until the very last page is turned.
