The Duty of Love

The Duty of Love - Ronald Neal Green The Duty of Love tells the alternating tales of Charles and his sister Tanya and fairy tale of Prince Cha Cha and Princess Ta Ta. The writing flows between the tales almost effortlessly. While not confusing or awkward, it did take me a few sentences to make the switch between tales. The plot is quickly paced, and I fell in love with most of the characters immediately. However, it is the plot twists that really captured my attention. It seemed like every time I thought I knew what was going to happen... bam, a twist. These twists kept me on the edge of my seat, dying to figure out what was going to happen next. While this is not purely an adult or children's novel, I think that there are aspects within the novel that will please each. This is the first novel I have read by Green, and I am certain it will not be my last. Highly enjoyable.
